About Us

		Maria Rossi, CMT Founder of the Massage Therapy Center Maria has maintained a private practice in Scotts Valley for over 10 years.  In addition to her advanced certification from Twin Lakes College of the Healing Arts, she has studied at the PUSH Therapy and Upledger Institues. Her personal style of integrated bodywork has a strong emphasis on Pain Management and Trigger Point Release. Maria works with local health-care professionals by providing therapeutic massage as an adjunct to traditional health care and physical rehabilitation.  In 2008, she was voted  "Favorite Massage Therapist" by San Lorenzo Valley residents.  In her free time, Maria plays tennis, practices yoga and loves cooking with family and friends.
		Christina Alvarez, CMT Christina has trained in both the Eastern and Western massage therapy modalities with a focus on Orthopedic Massage, working with repetitive strain injuries and joint range of motion techniques.  She  has  a sharp intuitive understanding of the body and brings 5 years of experience to the table.  She has studied at The Sunshine Network in Northern Thailand, Twin Lakes College of the Healing Arts, and at Five Branches University.  In her free time, Christina cycles, hikes and practices yoga.  She also, enjoys going to baseball games with her husband.
